Felted slippers

After beeing asked for the pattern a few times, I've finally written it up! If you find any mistakes I'd like to know =)

This is what you need:
Any type of yarn that felts. I've used Fritidsgarn, a bulky yarn. You'll need 100 grams for an european size 37.
This pattern is easy to convert to different sizes and yarns, you just add more stitches if you use thinner yarn.
Crochet hook size 6 mm/ J

Crochet terms:
Ch - Chain
Sc - Single Crochet
Slst - Slip stitch
Sts - stitch

Directions:

The slipper is worked in continuous spirals

Ch 2 - sc 5 in the first ch
2 sc in each sts
2 sc in first, 1 sc in the next - 15 sts
2 sc in first, 1 sc in the next 2 - 20 sts
2 sc in first, 1 sc in the next 3 - 25 sts
2 sc in first, 1 sc in the next 4 - 30 sts
2 sc in first, 1 sc in the next 5 - 35 sts
Sc in each sts around for the next 11 rounds - 35 sts and end with a slst. Ch 1 and turn, sc in each of the next 28 sts, turn. Continue like this until til slipper is nearly as big as you want it. Remember that the slipper shrinks a lot when felted!
On the next four rounds you do like this:
Sc in each of the next 13 sts, slst in each of the next 4, then sc in each of the next 13 sts.
This is to make a more round heel. If you like you can make more of these rounds.
Cut the yarn, but leave enough to sew the heel together.
Make one more!

Now its time for the felting. I use a normal program, 40 degrees celsius. Each washingmachine is different, so you just have to find ehat suits you.

I've done many different types of decoration, only the imagination sets the limits =)

These patterns are my design and is for non-commercial use only. However, you are free to make as many of them as you like for personal use.
